My passion for writing stems out of my love for reading. As I tell my students, to be a writer you first need to be a reader. As a child, I was a voracious reader. It was a way to escape from a tricky childhood. I started writing from a young age but only published much later in life. I write the kinds of books I like to read. Books that create movies in my head when I read them.
