I was born in Cape Town, South Africa in …oh yes, never trust a woman who tells you her age as she’ll tell you anything.  So let’s just say, it was a long time ago.  Way too long ago.  I’ve been married (that probably aged me further)and divorced and sold the t-shirts to make extra money to feed my three lovely children.
Some might say I have gypsy blood as I’ve moved around a lot, but really I’ve used my teaching qualifications to teach in different countries and travel the world.  I have one of those bucket list type of thingies – a list of things to do and places to go before I die.

For some strange reason, things just seem to happen to me, and this gives me an endless supply of material to write more books.  Writing is something I always loved to do from a very young age, and I’ve always been an avid reader.  I put my weak eyesight down to all those nights of reading under the covers by torchlight.  The teacher part of me will tell you that to be a good writer, you probably need to be a good reader as well.  But, enough talk about work-related stuff.

My first book was called Fear, Phobias and Frozen Feet.  It’s a non-fiction self-help book about how to break the pattern of bad relationships some of us keep getting into.  I got the idea to write that book when I was shafted, yet again, conned, yet again, and had my heart broken yet again, while recovering from breast cancer.  I got the idea for my first novel on the train to Shanghai.  Amazing what goes through your head on a two hour train journey. Stop the world, I need to pee!  introduces you to Fenella Fisher, a very different type of main character, one I feel that many people will be able to identify with.  The Case of Billy B is my second work of fiction.  At the moment I’m working on a novel preliminary called, Not Telling
This is the place to be if you want to find out more about the Life and Crimes of Fenella Fisher and Billy B, and where you can buy the books, etc, etc  You can also buy the books as Kindle ebooks.
You might also be able to find out a little bit about Cindy Vine and how on earth she managed to come up with a character like Fenella Fisher.  I mean, aren’t the main characters in books supposed to be beautiful, sexy and witty?

Life is a series of adventures.  Hope yours are all good!

love
